FOR THE LOVE OF CRICKET

As the new season approaches, we're are delighted to launch For The Love Of Cricket, our new campaign that digs deeper into recreational cricket and those that participate.

A love letter to recreational cricket

Cricket is our lifeblood, not just as a brand but the people behind it. We've lived the game collectively, from young colts, aspriing teenagers, grizzled vets and everything in between. We know the game and everything it gives to those that play it, watch it, or volunteer in it.

In our new campaign, For The Love Of Cricket, we are deep diving into the club game to see the stories inside teams up and down the country and around the world.

In our first instalment we visited Sanderstead CC, a club who pioneered club cricket on YouTube, who celebrated 100 years last summer. It's a club built on community, care and enjoyment, with generations mixing, friendships being forged, and its history being respected and informing the future.

It was a pleasure to showcase Sanderstead Cricket Club; here's to another 100 years.

"It exists for the community. It exists... It's a grounding for children here and it's I think cricket gives people a foundation not just for sport and finding new friends but in life.'
