DELIVERY

When will I receive my order?

We aim to dispatch the same day for orders placed before 11am on Weekdays.

Please note, orders containing cricket bats can take up to 5 days to be dispatched.

Club embellished orders can take up to 7 working days to be dispatched.

How do I change my shipping address?

Please contact us with your order number and new address.

If the order has been processed or dispatched, this may not be possible.

I am from the USA, do I have to pay import fees on my order?

USA Customs have removed the $800 de minimis duty exemption. This means every order you place for USA delivery, regardless of value, will require you pay USA duties, taxes and import charges to the carrier. This can be well over 50% of the order value. Gray-Nicolls is not liable for this.

Please check your local customs office for more information.

We cannot offer a return for goods once they have been dispatched from the UK, as the fees will remain outstanding.

Where are your goods dispatched from?

Our Bats are dispatched from our factory in Robertsbridge, East Sussex and all our other products are dispatched from our warehouse in Hastings, East Sussex.

Can I track my order?

RETURNS

How can I return something?

We offer a free 30 day returns policy to mainland UK customers.

Please note, goods must be in original, unused condition and packaging upon return to us. We also cannot accept returns for personalised items.

Can I exchange an item?

Unfortunately, we do not offer an exchange service.

Can I cancel my order?

If your order has been processed, it is unlikely that we’ll be able to cancel your order.

Please contact us with your order number and we will see if this is possible.

My discount code is not working

Please contact us with the discount code you’re trying to use and the item you’re trying to apply this to.

How do I redeem my Loyalty Points?

Please log into your account via our website and head to the ‘Loyalty hub’ section.

You can then redeem any available vouchers on this page.

Please note, the website does only allow 1 voucher per order.

 

GENERAL ENQUIRIES

Do your bats come pre-knocked in?

Our bats come pre-prepared, but aren't knocked-in. We advise to spend some time knocking-in your bat to prepare it for match action.

Can I choose the weight of my bat?

For certain bats, we offer a concierge service in which you can choose your desired weight (if in stock). If your chosen weight is not available, we will contact you.

What size bat do I need?

Choosing the correct bat size is essential for performance, comfort, and technique development.

Cricket bats are sized primarily based on the player’s height, not age. As a general guide:

  • Size 0–6 – Junior players (height-based progression)

  • Harrow – Typically suitable for players 5’3”–5’8”

  • Short Handle (SH) – Most adult players (5’8”+)

  • Long Blade / Long Handle – Taller players (6’2”+)

If you’re unsure between two sizes, we recommend choosing the size that allows you to stand comfortably with the bat grounded beside your leg without excessive bending

Do you offer a repair service?

Yes — we offer a professional bat repair and refurbishment service to help extend the life of your cricket bat. Our expert bat makers can carry out a range of repairs, including:

  • Crack repairs

  • Edge and toe repairs

  • Handle replacements

  • Rebinding and re-gripping

  • Full refurbishments and clean-ups
