Gray-Nicolls and Cricket Scotland Announce New Long Term Partnership

Gray-Nicolls is pleased to announce a new long-term contract with Cricket Scotland as the official kit supplier to the governing body and Scotland’s national teams.

The new agreement extends the partnership between Cricket Scotland and Gray-Nicolls which has been in place since 2019 and comes as the Scotland Men’s and Women’s squads prepare for a hugely important year of international cricket.

Among a wide range of updated products and designs being launched in the coming weeks include a new Scotland bilateral playing shirt for senior and pathway teams. This is being worn for the first time today by Scotland Women as they face Papua New Guinea in an ODI in Dubai, at the start of their preparation for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier which begins later this month.

Another highlight product will be a bespoke ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 shirt, which will be revealed next month ahead of Scotland Men travelling to the Caribbean.

The Men’s squad will wear the new Scotland bilateral shirt for the first time in May when they host Namibia and Oman in CWCL2 action, and then in a tri-seriesagainst Netherlands and Ireland later that month.

Paul Macari, Cricket Scotland Head of Operations and Commercial, said:
“We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with Gray-Nicolls in a World Cup year for our Men’s and Women’s senior teams.

“Gray-Nicolls have been extremely proactive with us in developing the new male and female range, and Scotland fans can look forward to the opportunity to purchase some fresh new items as we approach the summer.

“With a busy period coming up for our senior international squads, we are pleased to have a quick turnaround to produce the new bespoke playing shirts ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

“A key reason why we extended this partnership is the opportunity to expand our distribution network throughout Scotland. Gray Nicolls have an excellent arrangement with several sports retailers across the country, and we look forward to the chance to push our range into new markets.”

Richard Gray, CEO – Commercial at Gray-Nicolls, said:
“Gray-Nicolls are delighted to renew our successful partnership with Cricket Scotland.  We are very pleased that the players like the new range available to them and the developments we have made to our women’s and men’s cricket teamwear – thanks to their invaluable feedback from competing on the international stage.

“We are also proud that our service levels were a major factor in the decision of the Cricket Scotland Board to re-sign. We are particularly looking forward to the all-Gray-Nicolls clashes with the Netherlands on May 18 and 22 to celebrate the launch of the new kit!”

The new Cricket Scotland bilateral shirt will be available to buy from early May, while the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup shirt arrives in late May.
