Shockwave 200 Cricket Bat
Introducing the new Gray-Nicolls Shockwave 200 cricket bat, giving batsmen the ammunition required to destroy bowling attacks and change the game of cricket.
Featuring bold colours and aggressive sticker designs, the Shockwave cricket bat is the perfect fit for the modern game, where T20 is god and sixes are the currency. The Shockwave 200 bat is the perfect partner for a junior player making their way in the game.
With a high middle and pronounced swell, the Shockwave 200 will give you a fantastic level of performance for a brilliant price. A great bat for schools cricket, you'll be smashing the ball past fielders in no time.
The Shockwave 200 comes with intimidating edges, which give you every chance of clearing the field, even if you mistime the ball. When you do find the middle, the bowler – and everyone in attendance – will know about it.
The Shockwave is the perfect cricket bat for this new, dynamic era of our sport. The fractured sticker conjures a sense of dynamism and exaggerates the sweet spot, while the jagged graphics add to the intimating feel.
The blue beast - as it is affectionately known - was finally finished after months of research and design, and developed with some of our leading cricketers including England Cricket star Alex Hales.
Made with grade 3 English willow, the Shockwave 200 cricket bat will have some blemishes on wood, with loose, less frequent grains. However, it is ideally suited to the level of cricket mentioned above with unbeatable Gray-Nicolls performance.
As ever, the Shockwave cricket bat is fully quality controlled in Robertsbridge and hand-picked in the bat cave to suit your chosen specifications. The Shockwave 200 bat is available in short handle through to size 4 and comes with an Extratec finish on the face.

Picking the right bat for you
When selecting a cricket bat, it's crucial that you pick one that is the correct size for the player. If it's too small or too big, batting will be uncomfortable and performance will be compromised.
Bat size is based on the height of the player. Take a look at our handy Size Guide to see which bat size you should choose.

How do I care for my bat?
We recommend knocking your cricket bat in before use. You may also want to add a layer of linseed oil. Store your bat in a dry place when not in use.
See our blog on how to care for your new cricket bat including tips on adding linseed oil and replacing scuff sheets here.
How do I knock my bat in?
Using an old ball in a sock or a Deluxe Bat Mallet, hit the face of your cricket bat to condition the wood. You can also hit the edges of the bat with glancing blows, and gently hit the toe. You do not need to knock in the splice (top) of the bat.
What size bat do I need?
Please refer to our bat size guide to determine the size of the bat you require.
