Common Questions
How do I care for my bat?
We recommend knocking your cricket bat in before use. You may also want to add a layer of linseed oil. Store your bat in a dry place when not in use.
See our blog on how to care for your new cricket bat including tips on adding linseed oil and replacing scuff sheets here.
How do I knock my bat in?
Using an old ball in a sock or a Deluxe Bat Mallet, hit the face of your cricket bat to condition the wood. You can also hit the edges of the bat with glancing blows, and gently hit the toe. You do not need to knock in the splice (top) of the bat.
