Supernova 100 Cricket Bat
You are about to feel amazing. When you first pick up your new Supernova InfraRed 100 cricket bat to go out to the middle for the first time, you will feel the full force of what confidence can do for a cricketer. Confidence that comes from having an incredible cricket bat in your hands.
The Supernova InfraRed will feel less like a cricket bat, more like a weapon, so much so that bowlers are sure to be avoiding going toe-to-toe with you at all costs. One look at the InfraRed's long, red spine sticker that appears to exaggerate the middle of the bat even more and they'll be telling their captain they picked up a little injury and shouldn't be risked.
Once you get down to batting, the Supernova InfraRed 100 comes into its own. With its sizeable sweet spot promising unbelievable power, the batsman will be able to clear the infield – and boundary – with ease.
For those that rely more on touch and hard graft, that is where the Supernova excels. Its appeal is the craftsmanship that has gone into creating this beautiful bat. 12 months of shaping and re-shaping, contouring and refining have left us with a bat that will help you generate maximum hand speed, threading the ball through gaps that opposition captains didn't know were there.
The Supernova Infrared 100 will suit those playing school or junior cricket, presented in sizes from 4 – short handle. We can't promise to score the runs for you, but we'll give a great chance.
The Supernova InfraRed 100 cricket bat is from grade 4 English willow. Your blade will feature minor blemishes and looser, less frequent grains, but fantastic performance at your chosen price point. The fibre tape cover will give your willow an extra layer of protection, and you added peace of mind.

How do I care for my bat?
We recommend knocking your cricket bat in before use. You may also want to add a layer of linseed oil. Store your bat in a dry place when not in use.
See our blog on how to care for your new cricket bat including tips on adding linseed oil and replacing scuff sheets here.
How do I knock my bat in?
Using an old ball in a sock or a Deluxe Bat Mallet, hit the face of your cricket bat to condition the wood. You can also hit the edges of the bat with glancing blows, and gently hit the toe. You do not need to knock in the splice (top) of the bat.
What size bat do I need?
