Description

Own a piece of history with this special, limited edition bat made in collaboration with the Ruth Strauss Foundation.

The red Powerbow Original is a throwback design to 2004, when Andrew Strauss made his England debut. The yellow may have been replaced, but the iconic stickers which flare out to the toe of the bat remain, still as glorious as the were nearly two decades ago.

The bat itself is a state of the art Pro Performance blade, with a classic Powerbow feel, brought up to the modern day with imposing edges and dramatic swell. The bow remains, however, to give this bat power and control in the right amounts.

Pick-up is the key with the Powerbow. These bats weigh between 2lb9oz and 2lb12oz, but will feel at least an once lighter.

We offer a clean finish with a red grip to match the sticker decals, which include the Ruth Strauss Foundation logo and #RedForRuth hashtag.

30% of sales from the bat go to the Ruth Strauss Foundation, to help fight against cancer and support families suffering with bereavement.

Common Questions

How do I care for my bat?

We recommend knocking your cricket bat in before use. You should also add a layer of linseed oil if your bat does not come fitted with an Extratec sheet. Store your bat in a dry place when not in use.

See our blog on how to care for your new cricket bat including tips on adding linseed oil and replacing scuff sheets here.

How do I knock my bat in?

Using an old ball in a sock or a Deluxe Bat Mallet, hit the face of your cricket bat to condition the wood. You can also hit the edges of the bat with glancing blows, and gently hit the toe. You do not need to knock in the splice (top) of the bat.
