Bats Size Guide

Picking the right bat for you
When selecting a cricket bat, it's crucial that you pick one that is the correct size for the player. If it's too small or too big, batting will be uncomfortable and performance will be compromised.
Bat size is based on the height of the player. Take a look at our handy Size Guide to see which bat size you should choose.
SH = Short Handle
LH = Long Handle
LB = Long Blade
SM = Small Men's
Common Questions
How do I care for my bat?
We recommend knocking your cricket bat in before use. You should also add a layer of linseed oil if your bat does not come fitted with an Extratec sheet. Store your bat in a dry place when not in use.
See our blog on how to care for your new cricket bat including tips on adding linseed oil and replacing scuff sheets here.
How do I knock my bat in?
Using an old ball in a sock or a Deluxe Bat Mallet, hit the face of your cricket bat to condition the wood. You can also hit the edges of the bat with glancing blows, and gently hit the toe. You do not need to knock in the splice (top) of the bat.
What size bat do I need?
