Customisation

Step 1

It is possible for bats to have weight reductions, slight shape adjustments and balance tweaks to suit individual preferences in many cases. Here is a bat having some weight removed from the rear blade, our bat makers are very careful to keep the intended shape and balance of the bat intact.

Step 2

Handles can be adjusted to a shorter length or thinner feel, here being thinned before rebinding and gripping.

Step 3

Our custom built knocking in machine can reverberate against the blade up to 2000 times per minute. This delivers the equivalent of 5 hours worth of manual knocking in under 15 minutes, covering every inch of the striking face evenly.

Step 4

We can apply different colours, types and numbers of grips (max 3) to your bat. Some choose to fit half grips to give a thicker handle base.

Edgetec helps limit egde wear, factory fitted only, here about to be cut to shape after setting.

Step 6

Tuftoe being fitted, prior to dipping for extra durability. Our experts can professionally fit protective fittings to your bat here at our factory.

Fitted Protectoe, a tough fitting that offers excellent protection against toe damage caused by crease tapping, ground moisture and ball impacts. Can be DIY fitted or expertly applied here at our factory.

* In some cases we may not be able to adjust the balance and weight as required without negatively affecting the blade performance characteristics.

Bat Repairs and Refurbishment

All bats wear with use. Left unchecked in the long term the wear can start to undermine blade performance. We can professionally refurbish the blade to offer two main benefits:

Maintain blade responsiveness and striking power - Extend the playing lifespan of the bat

Blade condition after a typical seasons wear and tear.



The same bat after the cracks have been sealed and the blade cleaned and relabelled here at our factory.


Repair work to seal blade cracks, re-fit or replace handles as well as blade cleaning, conditioning and re-labelling (with protective fittings applied as needed) can be undertaken effectively in many cases.

Customisation and refurbishment costs vary from £15 up to £60 (inclusive of postage and VAT). Quotes given on application - just send your bat into us using the address below with a letter detailing your contact information, delivery address and details of what you would like us to do.

If repair or customisation is not possible we can return the bat to you as received.
